Dear Friends,
One more option – Netting : The process of ‘one more option for pension’ to the PF optees, which was opened on 13th September 2010 has concluded on the 11th November. Though the efforts to reach out all the P.F. optees to advise them of the option and request them to submit their option was a strenuous one, we look back with satisfaction that we have been able to reach out to as many retirees as possible.
In the course of the process, we have come across many doubts and difficulties. With the help of the Bank authorities at various levels, we were able to resolve smoothly.
The matter of Netting was one big botheration which was causing anxiety and strain, for which also our Association had initiated various steps to convince the authorities concerned.
We are now happy to share with the members that the Corporate Office has considered the situation favourably and has given instructions to Head Office – to provide netting facility to all the pension optees. The Commutation and arrears of pension upto Nov. 2010, will now be netted against the dues and the balance due alone has to be repaid. Head Office are working on the calculations and their letter to the Individual Pension optees would be sent by HO after 25th November 2010, informing them the calculations and the final amount to be refunded. Kindly await. At this juncture, we would like to express our thanks to the concerned executives, both at Corporate Office and Head Office for all the cooperation and help rendered.
Pensioners – Life Certificate: Existing Pensioners are required to submit their Life Certificate before the end of November 2010. Those of the pensioners who are yet to submit their Life Certificate are requested to submit the same without any further delay.
